TECHNICAL ABSTRACT (Limit 2000 characters, approximately 200 words)
Bennett Aerospace and Team Partners propose to develop a small, lightweight, and very power-efficient mobile radio for use on the Lunar surface. Our Team will achieve a design that meets NASA size and mass requirements while reducing power consumption by more than 90%. We will accomplish this through innovative approaches in power management and RF front end design.

POTENTIAL NASA COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS (Limit 1500 characters, approximately 150 words)
The radio technology proposed here can be purchased by NASA for future EVA and Lunar EVA missions.

POTENTIAL NON-NASA COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS (Limit 1500 characters, approximately 150 words)
The radio technology proposed here will have direct applicability to commercial sector mobile phone platforms and US Department of Defense (DOD) mobile radios.

NASA's technology taxonomy has been developed by the SBIR-STTR program to disseminate awareness of proposed and awarded R/R&D in the agency. It is a listing of over 100 technologies, sorted into broad categories, of interest to NASA.
