- Won $13.6 million joint contract
with NASA and U.S. Air Force for battery development for aircraft,
planetary rovers and landers and satellite applications
- Selected for the Mars 2001 Lander
and powers the Mars 2003 Rovers, and is under consideration for
future planetary exploration missions
