ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Combined expert systems concepts
with electronic publishing for use on the World Wide Web
- Formed a spin-off company in
electronic publishing rated as one of the "Top 100 Web Developers":
in the country by a third party survey conducted by Lotus
- Applied neural networks and
genetic algorithms to operate intelligent controls for electric
power utility plants to reduce NOX emissions
|
COMMERCIALIZATION
- On the basis of their SBIR work,
ERC generated $4.9M of post-Phase II revenue from commercial and
government sources. In addition, this effort resulted in ten
new jobs
- ERC has given the NASA SBIR
Program major credit for ERC's growth, starting in 1988 with its
first SBIR contract for $50K and two employees to today's employment
of over a hundred employees and a yearly revenue of $14M
