    • Leveraged domain knowledge to facilitate change impact prediction supporting decision making relevant to planning
    • Developed the Knowledge Aided Mission Planning System (KAMPS)
    • Project successfully validated the utility of a knowledge based approach to mission planning in actual NASA mission planning applications
COMMERCIALIZATION 
    • Software is currently being enhanced for commercial release
    • Commercial applications of KAMPS -based software include engineering design planning, production planning, manufacturing  and project planning and scheduling

GOVERNMENT/SCIENCE APPLICATIONS 
    • Project has demonstrated utility of the KAMPS software to NASA mission planning at JSC, with expected benefits at  other NASA and aerospace organizations
