Overview

In September 1999, the State of Vermont's Department of Economic Development (DED) received a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration to establish a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs outreach to small, high technology businesses in Vermont. DED provides Comprehensive and free small business counseling, information on how to fund your R&D activity without having to pay it back, High quality, affordable workshops designed for start-up and existing businesses.
