Overview

The Department of Economic Development has assisted approximately 160 people and companies considering SBIR applications in the last six years. This assistance has taken one or more of the following forms: introducing and explaining the SBIR program and process; performing literature searches; helping potential applicants identify university or other experts to collaborate on a proposal; supplying SBIR literature; getting interested individuals and companies on the mailing list of SBIR agencies.
