Overview

MTDC is a venture capital fund owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The MTDC is highly involved with SBIR and handles many SBIR activities for the state. As part of Phase II proposal evaluation, MTDC reviews and supplies letters concerning the financial commitment statement for Phase III activities. Additionally, they participate in joint seminars and workshops with the MIT Enterprise Forumand the Small Business Association of New England and are part of the state's venture capital network.
