Overview
The SBIR Assistance Program for the State of Georgia, a unit of the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute, helps Georgia companies understand the federal SBIR and STTR Programs and assists in maximizing success in receiving funding under these programs. The program receives state and federal funds to help improve the competitiveness of Georgia companies through the introduction of innovative technology-based products and services. The staff of the SBIR Assistance Program is here to help and will lead companies through the process that could result in an SBIR/STTR Award. Services are offered at NO COST to Georgia companies. Contact the SBIR Assistance Program to:
- Determine if the SBIR/STTR award program is appropriate for your company.
- Learn the differences between the various federal agencies in writing a proposal that caters to each agency's needs and requirements.
- Learn how to obtain insight into the agency's problem in order to write a focused proposal.
- Understand the important points you need to make in each section of your proposal to properly communicate your capabilities in meeting the agency's needs.
- Learn how to construct your proposal budget to maximize your award and to avoid a reduction in the amount of your award.
- Obtain one or more reviews of your proposal to help improve your chances for success.
- Determine what needs to done once you have been selected for a Phase I award to maximize the likelihood of a Phase II award.
